Welcome to part 20 of my Web Development course, where we go over basic web fundamentals, and create a blog.

The MakeyMakey will quickly become a favourite with your students. Once this simple device is connected to a computer, students are instantly on their way to becoming inventors. Without the need of a driver or additional software, the makeymakey provides a tactile interface between a computer program and any conductive materials. Your students will be demanding you bring in fruits, vegetables, tin-foil pie plates, and even pots of flowers. Ever wonder if an eggplant makes a better drum than an orange? With the makeymakey, your students will be testing the conductive properties of just about anything they can get their conductive hands on. Jay and Eric, the creators of the MakeyMakey have put together some incredible resources found at www.makeymakey.com. Browse through the hundreds of projects found in the gallery to inspire your students' next creation. Extra credit goes to the teacher who integrates the makeymakey into Grade 6 Science, or even Physics 11.
